Look Who's Talking
Digital Communication and Signal Processing Systems Design - Carnegie Mellon University (2007)
It was a Capstone Design Project. We have designed and developed a spying device which monitors the location and activities of important and dangerous terrorist cells to prevent any disastrous attacks on the United States. A DSK processor has been used to provide the following functionalists:
- Voice Activity Detection: filter out the non-voiced signals and be notified of the presence of speech
- Speaker Identification: non-text based speaker identification through large amounts of training data
- Keyword Spotting: identify trained keywords when they are spoken by any individual being monitored
